cron doesn't seem to work on OSX 10.4.10.
I have created (with crontab -e) a crontab file in my user account

which looks like this:

It Seems Firefox Locked Up My System... Again12 Mar 2008 07:01 GMT35
All I was doing was quitting some apps.  But when I quit Firefox, it's
menu stayed in the menu bar but no commands worked.  No keyboard
commands worked though the mouse still functioned.  However, when I
tried using the mouse to select the Apple menu to access the Force Quit

Airport Utility - upgrade lost my wireless devices12 Mar 2008 04:03 GMT2
In a software update, I installed a new version of Airport Utility - version
5.3.1 . It no longer sees my Airport Extreme base station. I had used the
previous version successfully. I did power everything off and back on - no
change.

First quick look at MacSpeech Dictate11 Mar 2008 20:01 GMT2
Just received MacSpeech Dictate Monday, slapped it
into my Mac, dictated this post.
I used the supplied headset. Noticed that MacSpeech made another
great decision by including an external sound card in their package.

CD won't eject11 Mar 2008 16:49 GMT7
I have apparently a bad CD in the CD drive on my iMac Leopard (intel)
machine. Nothing in it was recognized and now it won't eject. I have
tried to eject it and it just sits there. The trash icon looks like the
"eject" symbol and none of the icons in the doc are functioning.
macslave - hysterical early 90s adult software - archived?11 Mar 2008 15:21 GMT4
I remember being 10 years old and downloading a demo version of
Macslave.  From a BBS.  With a Hayes 9600 baud modem.  Oh, the
memories.
From what I remember the game was a system 7 hypercard-esque line
Cmd-optn-drag Finder icon11 Mar 2008 07:49 GMT21
I am used to command-option-dragging a Finder icon to make an alias of
a file.  Some recent version of OS X seems to have overload this
operation.  It nows also turns the cursor into a hand and drags the
window view around relative to its scroll bars.  It seems to default

I've been deliberating back & forth on how to go about adding some
more storage capacity on my system...basic options are Firewire 800,
or via a NAS.

Keyboard Anti-Static Mat Report10 Mar 2008 23:13 GMT44
Well, I said I'd report after getting an anti-static mat to help
mitigate the little shocky problem with my Apple aluminum KB.  It's a
nice mat (Startech) with a 10 foot ground wire.  As others surmised, you
have to touch the mat for it to work so it's no different (for me) than
