| Strange Bluetooth happenings | 14 Mar 2008 00:23 GMT | 10 |
Every month or two, the computer stops responding to the Bluetooth mouse and keyboard. The easiest way I've found to fix the problem (until it happens again, that is) is to plug in a USB mouse, and use it to switch to another user. That gets the BT mouse and keyboard working ...

| Why is OS X Mail constantly losing my mail? | 13 Mar 2008 23:55 GMT | 16 |
This is really aggravating. I use 10.4.11 Mail with POP servers and once a message has been downloaded I expect to find it later. But once in a while single or groups of messages (always old ones) are not available. Some italicized messages says they need to be downloaded.

| Synchronising multiple Macintosh | 13 Mar 2008 22:02 GMT | 3 |
I was wondering just how experienced Macintosh users go about keeping personal files synchronised over multiple Macintosh? My syncing between my main system (iMac) and my portable (old Powerbook) is very rough, as I haven't been travelling much over the past few years. I want to ...

| ?Limit Time Machine size w/o partitioning? | 13 Mar 2008 16:22 GMT | 5 |
Is there a way in _software_ to limit the maximum size of a Time Machine backup, rather than partitioning a hard drive? Perhaps some secret 'write defaults...' command? As a founding signatory to the Icon Non-Proliferation Treaty, I'd like to limit the number of volume icons
