Is it possible to use my old PC (500 GB) as an external hard drive for Time Machine? Do I just format the drives on the PC and connect it (which cable?) to the iMac?

I know how to write an AppleScript to call an item from one of the menus of an application. But I would like the syntax for calling an item from a menu bar button. Can anyone supply that?

These are fuckin sick... You can have a folder on your desktop that has a search critera of a word, lets say "what", and the folder will act like a folder that has all those files that have the work what in there filename all in that smart folder, not to mention other options

I could never use one. The absence of a FW port is strange. I suppose ethernet is old-school, everyone's wireless now. I can live with that. But Firewire?

Anybody here use it? I'm trying version 4.6.1 now and it looks marvelous. Just wondering if there are any issues with 10.4.11 or 10.5? As per SMART, it just says if it passed or not. I presume that means there was not a single SMART error? There is a lot to this program -
