there seem to be some odd wrinkles in the way Leopard finder deals with aliases in the sidebar when the aliases refer to folders on samba shares. You can't (apparently) drag a samba share to the side bar like you can a local directory. Is their a work-around for this?

Disk Utility seems to work great (though it may not be the most intuitive program in the world for some of us.) I notice that sometimes .dmg and .iso files seem to accumulate on the left column under the volumes. Is there any way of getting rid of these? Eject is greyed
