Hello, again Group!
I want to transfer the contents of my IMac to my G4.   I have to use
an
ethernet cable, right?  How do I set up both computers to do this.

I really want a Macbook, but the model I like (2.2 ghz, 120 gb hd
etc..) is a little steap in price for my budget, however Apple offers
this same model for the right price in a refurbished version.

Ok so I might be the dummy here, I can take that, dole out the ctdowns
but please tell me. I have looked at roughly a million f%@$ing
tutorials and the best anyone seems to have is I think you might....
with no information. I'll start out by saying the apache and php files

there seem to be some odd wrinkles in the way Leopard finder deals with
aliases in the sidebar when the aliases refer to folders on samba shares.
You can't (apparently) drag a samba share to the side bar like you can a
local directory.  Is their a work-around for this?

Does anyone have some example code they want to share? I can't even
figure out how to open a mailbox or directory.

Disk Utility seems to work great (though it may not be the most
intuitive program in the world for some of us.)  I notice that sometimes
.dmg and .iso files seem to accumulate on the left column under the
volumes.  Is there any way of getting rid of these?  Eject is greyed
