My old iSight is no longer working properly. I went to the store for a new webcam but none of them seem to be Mac compatible. Anyone have any luck with third party webcams on a Mac? I'm running a G5 2 gig under 10.4.9.

Did anything ever come of Wine on Mac OS X? I've found a few references to Crossover Office, but the price is more than I want to pay for being able to expand Win32 self-expanding archives.

I have 2 Macs here - a laptop and a desktop. On both I have Date & Time open in the System Preferences. Both have the checkbox checked for "Set date & time automatically." I have reselected the time server on each one several times - Apple Americas, Apple Europe, etc.

Recently I did a fresh install and upgraded to OS X.4.11 on my iMac G4 PPC. When I did, the capability to run OS 9 applications disappeared. I still have an OS9 system folder.

I have a question on Security update 001-2008. Is it just for TIger, or is it for both Tiger and Leopard? The Apple website says "OS 10.4.11 or greater". WHen I run Software Update, I don't get any message saying I need to download anything else.
