The 10.5.2 update gives choices for viewing folders from the Dock.
What is the difference between "Display as Folder" or "Display as Stack"
when "View Content as List" is selected?
It seems to be the same.

I plugged in my Samsung SyncMaster to my macbook using a dvi to vga
converter and nothing happens, any ideas why? I have checked the

I have had Office (2004) on my MacBook Pro since day one. I didn't pay

All of the sudden as I select any icon or fied, a black box is drawn
around it. Also in the finder menu, log out, emty trash and restart all

working. I did get the drips right away but, alas, it is still

I would like to empty a *part* of my trash but not the full trash - is
there a way to do this in OS X ? Until recently I had a Linux box
running Gnome where it was trivial. I wonder if there is a key
combination (or if not, an Apple Script) which could be used.

Is there a way to inspect an active Cocoa app window if I want to find
out exactly what font is being displayed on screen?

Anyone know what this means?
This computer is a G4 with system 9. It boots up to a white screen
with the following message:

My startup drive is a 250GB.  and I'd like to copy the whole thing over
to a 750GB hard drive.
Is it possible to duplicate it in it's entirety so that I don't have to
re-install extensions and startup files etc.?

I have just discovered that if I go to youtube, instead of getting
