10.5.1 - In terminal I've noticed some files are listed as:
rw-rw-r--@  4  j j <date & file name>
I've looked through man pages and haven't found it.
What does the '@' signify?

See whose connected to Airport?03 Dec 2007 00:17 GMT2
I am using my iMac to share an internet connection with my laptop and
kinda paranoid about it. Is there anyway to see who is connected to the
iMac besides my laptop?
iPod vs. Zune02 Dec 2007 23:51 GMT13
Hey guys,
I was just wondering, how the Zune compares to the iPod. My cousin
just brought a Zune, and he loves it. I think my cousin is crazy, but
I don't want to make the wrong decision with Christmas presents! :P

Speech synthesis in languages other than English?02 Dec 2007 22:34 GMT1
Hi.  Can the OS X Speech Synthesis Manager handle languages other
than English?  If so, where exactly can one set the language?
I'd prefer to keep my general system (Finder, menus, dialogs, etc.)
in one language, and limit the use of the second language only to

iSub!02 Dec 2007 19:23 GMT5
After several years of using the USB iSub, I am sure I can't go back to
life without it.  If anyone reading this newsgroup can fix the broken
driver in 10.5 and sell that software, I for one would pay a reasonable
amount of money for it.  That would be preferable to buying new ...
Leopard: Archive and Install02 Dec 2007 19:10 GMT19
My Leopard now works fine. I will try installing 9.2.1 to bring back
some old System 8 games that I still like. I also have a few OSX apps
that either don't work at all or are clunky. I am confident that there
will be patches soon for these apps. I am also confident, hopefull
Apple Mail favourites query02 Dec 2007 17:34 GMT2
I have just transferred all my mail addresses from Eudora 3.1 to Apple
Mail 3.0 (Os 10.5.1) and I'm struggling to get back some of the easy
functionality I enjoyed in Eudora - hopefully only because my ignorance
is showing.
Problems with Toast and Leopard02 Dec 2007 17:30 GMT8
I have just run into problems using Toast 8 with Leopard. Is it me or do
others have such problems as well?

Ulitilty & Maintenance02 Dec 2007 16:28 GMT4
In all the time I've had with Windows I have never had more than one user.
On the job it's been a company lan and not my problem.
I have thus far 3 users on my MacBook. For maintenance, is there anything I
need to do that would not be necessary if I had one user?  I should know
Boot Camp and Parallels02 Dec 2007 15:51 GMT4
I just received my Leopard DVD and read the small pamplet they include.
Also, been going thru Robin Williams's  book on Leopard.
Apple's little book gives a brief tute on installing Boot Camp, and says
nothing regarding Parallels.  Ms. Williams book (at least on a quick look
Compile to 64-bit on 32-bit OS02 Dec 2007 14:56 GMT3
Apparently my Mac Mini will run 64-bit code transparently even thought I'm
on a 32-bit OS. What I want to know is, how can I compile my code to
64-bit?
Powerbook mishap story...02 Dec 2007 12:28 GMT4
I have a 17" Powerbook.  I have since 2003.  I take meticulous care of it.
People looked at it and thought it was a brand new Powerbook because I had
taken such great care of it.
Yesterday, I took my son to the pediatrician first thing in the morning.
