think 1/3 the price of a replacement is all one should pay for a repair.)
I can get a VeiwSonic VA1903wb for under #300.00 CDN, and I am ...

Who is Jesus?
Without a doubt, you have often heard the claim that Jesus is God, the
second person in the "Holy trinity." However, the very Bible which is
used as a basis for knowledge about Jesus and as the basis for

Automatic connections when login12 Dec 2007 00:31 GMT2
I'm messing with a (probably) really basic thing. I'm trying to make
connections to other servers on login. I found that you can do that
using the systemprefereces/accounts.
The problem is this: When I login, the iMac answers that the connection
Firewire Port - MBP11 Dec 2007 21:25 GMT2
The one firewire port on my MacBookPro is way loose. It works fine if
it's on a table top and nothing pulls even slightly on the cord, but I
often use my laptop, uh, in my lap.
Is this user fixable? I am guessing there's a small tensioner in the
help needed DVD burning app imac 2.411 Dec 2007 20:58 GMT6
New to the mac but a battle scarred Windows convert. I have used a
number of apps for the PC to backup my DVDs. My son has a habit of
trashing DVDs within a couple of mins so now i back them up for him to

A Fantastic Book on Fonts11 Dec 2007 19:00 GMT1
Today I purchased Sharon Zardettos "Take Control" book on fonts and font
management in Leopard and would like to go on record as saying that this is a
"must buy" book for anyone that has a more than casual interest, as do I, in
typography.
Did Leopard hose my FW drive?11 Dec 2007 15:37 GMT2
I wanted to copy over some files to my new iMac/Os 10.5.1 from a (MacOs
Extended) LaCie 60GB Firewire drive which had been attached to an
expansion card in my trusty old PM7500/Os 9.1 for the past 7 years
(where it never missed a beat and never threw up any errors in my

Journalists like myself (I'm an editor for CIO.com) have our favorite
movies about our field: Ace in the Hole, Broadcast News, Superman,
etc. I want to know, what are your favorite movies? What are the cult
movies in your field? I would like to put together a list of

I upgraded to 10.5 and now SafariBlock doesn't seem to work anymore. Is
this impression correct, and if so is there anything I can do to fix
SafariBlock?

Obtaining .lit files for Reading  eBooks on Macintoshs11 Dec 2007 04:34 GMT2
I have a program on my Mac G4  called " libprs500" . This program is
