Leopard and Sheepshaver15 Dec 2007 14:39 GMT1
I cannot get Sheepshaver to work on Leopard. The GUI shows the error,
"Cannot map RAM..." The SS application just hangs with a spinning ball
on launch.
It works fine in Tiger.
Any problem with Micromat TechTools Pro 4.5.3 under Leopard?15 Dec 2007 08:26 GMT29
Dear friends:
Is there any problem with Micromat TechTools Pro 4.5.3 under Leopard?
The system update site from Micromat doesn't show any release after
this one, but it shows that it was released during last July.
New Imac v Old Imac: Do you have an opinion?15 Dec 2007 06:00 GMT6
I am considering buying a 20" intel core-2-duo Imac. When available,
Apple refurb store sells the new Imac for 1049, old one for 1099
(indicating perhaps no more than the higher list price of the older
machine)!
Center Mouse Button Settings Goofy?15 Dec 2007 05:46 GMT2
I have a wireless logitech mouse and for some reason, the center
scroll wheel (which can also be clicked down) that ONCE would cause a
window to open in another window, now it causes the active window to
scroll up and down when I move my mouse up and down.
Need help: how much would you pay for "used, inspected, warranty-less" Imac?14 Dec 2007 14:55 GMT2
Bottom line question: I have the option of buying a 20" 2.16GH
white-border Imac---used, refurbished and inspected by CompUSA's techs,
but no warranty, not eligible for Apple Care, and no free Leopard---for
$730. I must decide soon.

Hiding the Dock (Again, sigh...)14 Dec 2007 08:03 GMT10
In Leopard, Apple removed the ability to move the Dock to the top of
the display where it is least likely to be accidentally made visible.
It used to be that the free TinkerTool <http://www.bresink.com> enabled
this.
Do apps *have to* be installed in the Applications folder?14 Dec 2007 06:31 GMT111
I am going to install some software like adobe creative suite 3.
but i am worried that when i send my mac mini in for repair, apple
might notice the pirated software and then delete it.

Reinstalling my OS...will it prompt for password?14 Dec 2007 04:56 GMT5
So I'm an idiot. I haven't shut down my MacBook in over 2 months (just
make it sleep when not in use) and I realize that I forgot my
password. My laptop's about 3 months old so I probably logged into it
about three times or so, and so I really have absolutely no clue what
Wireless (MacBook Pro) disconnecting14 Dec 2007 01:06 GMT4
I have a MacBook Pro, up to date OS (latest tiger, not moved to
leopard yet), up dates on all software relevant to the problem. But
every time the Mac sleeps, when I power up, the wireless in my home
does not connect and I have to restart the computer. I have PCs
