I cannot get Sheepshaver to work on Leopard. The GUI shows the error,
"Cannot map RAM..." The SS application just hangs with a spinning ball
on launch.
It works fine in Tiger.

Dear friends:
Is there any problem with Micromat TechTools Pro 4.5.3 under Leopard?
The system update site from Micromat doesn't show any release after
this one, but it shows that it was released during last July.

I am considering buying a 20" intel core-2-duo Imac. When available,
Apple refurb store sells the new Imac for 1049, old one for 1099
(indicating perhaps no more than the higher list price of the older
machine)!

I have a wireless logitech mouse and for some reason, the center
scroll wheel (which can also be clicked down) that ONCE would cause a
window to open in another window, now it causes the active window to
scroll up and down when I move my mouse up and down.

Bottom line question: I have the option of buying a 20" 2.16GH
white-border Imac---used, refurbished and inspected by CompUSA's techs,
but no warranty, not eligible for Apple Care, and no free Leopard---for
$730. I must decide soon.

Is it OK to buy copies of old (ie, 10.4) Mac OS's on eBay?

So I'm an idiot. I haven't shut down my MacBook in over 2 months (just
make it sleep when not in use) and I realize that I forgot my
password. My laptop's about 3 months old so I probably logged into it
