I'm a fairly recent mac convert, and there's one windows explorer
feature that I'm having a hard time doing without.  Explorer can
expose a URL box, just like a browser.  If I want to get to a folder
(or network node) and I know the exact path, I can just type the url

The little scroll wheel will scroll up, but it won't scroll down.
I use my laptop, so it's not a huge deal, but I don't want my wife to
wallow in inefficiency.
Any tips?

Anyone seen a Global Login Item yet? Apparently, they're new to Leopard,

 I'm a messy photographer that shoots RAW format most of the time.  I
unload my CM card into whatever computer is closest at that minute (PC,

I use a G4 iMac running 10.4.10.  Yesterday, without warning, Mail
stopped sending my messages.  After I compose a message and then click
