| search doesn't work on x-serve/RAID | 12 Nov 2007 07:06 GMT | 2 |
Searching for file names via finder window input field doesn't work on a RAID which is connected to our x-serve and accessed by a Mac running 10.4.10. The same files are found when searching via spotlight. Any reason for this difference?

I don't know if anyone has mentioned this yet, but in Leopard, Finder windows set to icon view now allow you to set the grid spacing. I hadn't noticed this until last night.

Someone is attacking one of my favorite USENET groups. The attacker is easy to recognize because of a certain rare combination of letters in his path -- let's say it's abcde. Nothing under "Path contains" seems to filter out "abcde." What am I missing -- and what is a "regular
