The upgrade to Mac OS X 10.5 was gracefully painless. The first real bummer is that the new compatible Parallels 3.0 buid 5160 breaks running my key learning CD (medical field). The silly copy protection scheme on it will not verify anymore :-(

Gang, I was cleaning my computer keyboard earlier. I had a few apps running, so I brought the Finder to the front so I wouldn't muck with anything by pressing random keys (I had all Finder windows closed).

Just installed Leopard on my G5imac. Sherlock has been replaced by a question mark on the dock which does nothing when I click on it. Has this happened to anyone else? Any way to bring it back?

Time Machine works great remotely, using Timbuktu version 8.7 to make the connection between two Intel Macs. For beginners, it was easy to remotely install TB2 into the remote Mac Mini, which did not initially have TB2 inside itself.
