I have an .avi movie (about 700 mb) and would like to trim out some stuff. iMovie and iDVD didn't seem to be geared for this but perhaps I missed something. So I want to trim out things like opening credits, ending credits, etc to maybe bring it down to about 680 mb.

I was lying in bed. I turned it 90degrees and it started coverflow (when I didn't want it to cos my head was on the pillow) if I go jogging, will it mess up the accelorometer?

Igot the leo family pack and after successfully upgrading my Powerbook I tried the MacMini but that one simply does not accept the DVD. Do I need a new drive or could this be something else. Single Layer DVDs can be read.

Based on lessons learned the hard way do not use the OSX Software Update. Get the MacOSXUpd10.5.1.dmg from Apple. If you have already used the Software Update and have some weird messages when you try to Repair Disk Permissions using the Disk Utility,

All of a sudden, when I open the widgets, I can click on the + in the lower left to produce the "Manage Widgets" button but when I press it, nothing happens! It used to work, but not anymore. Any ideas? I'm running Leopard on an Aluminum Imac.
