Xerox Phaser 6120 on OSX 10.4 (and 10.5)19 Nov 2007 21:58 GMT2
Problem: None of the household Macs will print on this (the only) printer.
As many facts as I can think of:
1) Previously on the old servers/domain this printer worked fine with all

sharing iTunes19 Nov 2007 21:46 GMT2
I'd like to be able to share my iTunes library between 2 accounts. Is
this possible.
For example, I'd like to rip some CD's to iTunes in my account and be
able to allow my wife to listen when she logs into her account.

Is there anything I can run off a CD or DVD or a USB drive to test ram
without OS X running?  (Like memtest works on PC's.)

Safari has not been tested with, and I quote, "Safari 3.0.4 (v523.12)

How long before Leopard is cracked?19 Nov 2007 12:48 GMT40
I was wondering how long some of you technical people here predict
before Leopard is cracked for use on non-Apple hardware?  Or if you
believe it will be cracked at all?

I am very new to Mac computers. I was given an iMac G3 for free (no ram
or hard drive). I put in some pc100 ram hoping to get some kind of POST
or something (I am used to PC machines). When I push the power button, I
get a beep, then the power button light blinks on and off.

restoring functionality of leopard dock19 Nov 2007 06:47 GMT11
How difficult would it be for someone to write an app to restore the
dock behavior of 10.4? I can live with the look of it, but I want
control of what the icons look like. I don't want Steve dictating what
icons are in my dock.
