| How to de-alias aliases when copying | 20 Nov 2007 18:27 GMT | 8 |
I have a folder full of aliases to files on my hard disk. I want to copy this folder to a USB drive (or whatever), but replace the aliases with the files they point to, as they won't be much use on somebody else's machine. Is there an easy way to do that?

I haven't had any trash sounds since 10.5.0. No sounds when adding an item to the trash or emptying it. This is only affecting one of my user accounts. Trash sounds work in all others. System Preferences -> Sound -> Play user interface sound effects is checked.

| Spaces Weirdness | 20 Nov 2007 07:26 GMT | 13 |
I'm using Spaces, and kind of relying on the fact that Leopard switches in the right space when an application gets focus. Only sometimes it stops doing that. Logging out and back in fixes it for a while, but then it will start doing it again. I haven't been able to figure out ...
