Just trying to figure out how to remove the Eject menu from the menubar? I only had it installed as I had a non-Apple keyboard for a while (gotta say I was pleasantly surprised with the new style, not that I particularly need 19 Function buttons).

I'm looking for a way to put a Mac to sleep from the command line. I looked at pmset but it only seems to change the sleep scheduler. pmset also needs to be run as root. I'm just looking for a one-time command to put a Mac to sleep that a non-admin user can enter from the ...

| Procmail to Send Email to Programs for Processing | 21 Sep 2007 03:58 GMT | 6 |
I have an problem that I can probably solve by using procmail to save an Email attachment to disk, run a program to act upon that attachment, and then Email the resulting output (probably also as an attachment) back to the sender of the message.

| Who's Noob Carroll? | 21 Sep 2007 03:38 GMT | 31 |
I was reading this a.shole, first saying that Apple clears $90,000,000 on 125,000 computers -- that's $720/computer, more than what most PCs are worth nowadays! -- and then pretending that Apple gets only an honest margin on its PCs because of the "high technology" of Airport,
