For a while now I have been plagued by strange finder crashes in OS 10.4.10; I suddenly get the red ball for no apparent reason, and I am unable to relaunch the finder (Force Quit has no effect). I can still run other apps (as I'm doing now in Thoth with the red ball spinning

...even though I'm already connected to the Internet. This is with 10.4.9 and accessing help for the Server Admin tools. How do I get my Mac to connect seamlessly to the online help files like usual? I rarely use Help, what other help section would check the online

Jobs just announced that the next revision of iTunes (to be released later today) will allow you to make a ring tone from any music in iTunes. But it will cost you 99 cents to do so; this is on top of whatever you spent for the track that you're going to make the ring tone

I remember my very fist computer. I was twelve years old. The computer was a Wang 386 PC. I was amazed at the fact that you could put a cd in it and view pictures and information. Back then you put the CD-ROMs in a square holder, and inserted that into the computer.

I have a MAC (10.4.10). For some time, I've unsuccessfully tried to proceed from movies (downloaded as rar files) into something that Toast can burn onto DVD. Simply can't do it. Toast (8.0.1 Titanium) is great at burning wmv files to DVD
