I was wondering if someone could help me. I have a wireless home
netwrok setup with the following components.:
1)Livebox (Orange) wireless router
2)PC Laptop running Windows XP home edition service pack 2 (Compaq

I have a bunch of Postscript Type 3 fonts, which are apparently not
supported in Mac OS 10.
Is there any way I can convert these to a format that could work in X?

Is it possible to install open-source software on the Mac by downloading the
source code and building it (the way it's done on other UNIX flavours, like
Linux and Solaris)?  Or do applications somehow have to register with the
