Do I need to have an apple macintosh to run os 10.x or can I get a
dell laptop that has an intel duo processor? If I need a mac then what
does the mac have that normal pc's don't have that allow them to run
both the os 10.x and vista/xp o/s.

I just picked up a PowerMac 6500/225 and I don't have a restore CD.
It is currently running on Mac OS 9 and it is slow. I checked its
specifications at apple and found that it works with MacOS7.5.5 with a
special system enabler 411.  Anyway, since 7.5.5 is legally available from

It consists on my old G4 FW-800 and six external FW HDs.
With a little digging i figured out how to hook up to that system thru
