I've noticed that my Power PC G5 iMac is running hot when using the CD/DVD drive. Should I clean out the inside of the case, and how big a job is it. This is something I've never attempted with a Mac.

i have a question: i am emptying my trash on a regular basis, but lately it seems that no disk space seems to be reclaimed in doing so. when i check the trash location using the shell, it is reported as empty, thus i am a little at loss as to why no disk space is reclaimed.

I hope I do not ask a question about a well know problem. My emac (G4 1.25Mhz) has become lately erratic when I put him in sleep mode. If I wake him up the CRT will bang with a sound like a degauss and the power is down.
