Hello experts,
I was wondering if OS X login password would be considered a good enough
protection of one's personal information for the case where one's laptop
gets stolen by an average thief?

I used to use OS 9's tabbed windows to keep frequently used folders open
along the bottom of my screen. Can anyone recommend a program which can
created tabbed folders in the dock or on the side of the screen in OS X?
I've seen DragonDrop but it only works with 10.4 which I don't ...

I've noticed that my Power PC  G5 iMac is running hot when using the
CD/DVD drive.
Should I clean out the inside of the case, and how big a job is it.
This is something I've never attempted with a Mac.

Dashboard is no longer working on my Macbook (OS 10.4.10).  I press F12
or click on the dashboard icon, and it doesn't show the dashboard.
