All of a sudden my audio-in has died.
Everything was working fine... then my mic stopped
working.  I have two mics and neither of them now
work whether i plug them into the iMic USB device

Anyone upgraded to Quicktime Pro and noticed that certain mpg video
files have no audio? I checked the apple web site and find nothing. Any
clues?

OK, I've got this thing running perfectly with an additional drive added of
750G on top of the existing 250G.  So I've got plenty of space and the extra
drive is formatted both for Windows and OS-X (50% each).
The original drive which Bootcamp installed Windows on shows on the ...

If I sit here and press CMD + Tab, and then let go and do it again, over and
over I get this strange behaviour: the first three or four times I do it,
the Application Switcher opens with the second application from the left

I have a pretty big problem: I have a Windows XP license through a MSDN
subscription of my university. Means I can download an ISO from a secure
server containing Win XP Pro (incl. SP2, German) and get a personal
activation key.

I can't turn down the number of colors and get a faster remote access
and it seems to want to redraw the entire screen for every click.
Is there something else I can use?  Or can I fix chicken of the VNC?

If I check the Activity window on a You Tube page and double-click on
the item with "get_video" as part of its name, it will download a file
named "get_video".  If I then append ".flv" to the name, it will display
