| New Ad | 08 Aug 2007 01:50 GMT | 19 |
Apparently Apple is advertising that Windows comes with a bunch of stuff we don't want, while Macs come with just what we want. Let me see, Macs come with iHome, while Windows has its media player. I don't want half of iHome.

| Disk Warrior/Data Rescue/Other Opinions | 07 Aug 2007 17:27 GMT | 3 |
The other day I reported losing a 1TB LaCie drive. I just tried a demo copy of Data Rescue and it seem to be able to see all of the files. I'd need to purchase the product to actually recover/repair the drive (it's a partioning error I'm told).

My wife's old dual-processor G4 workhorse began freezing up with the latest upgrade to 10.4. Several times a day she gets the gray screen and the message to restart. Her computer guy told her on the phone that it's a bug in the newest upgrade. But he didn't offer any

Is there any way to configure mount options for the auto-mounter? I'm trying to set things up so I can use a set of SSH keys on a USB memory stick with a FAT32 filesystem. By default the automounter mounts it so that everything is globally readable and writeable, which ssh-add
