Help! My teenage son decided to try and install Bootcamp on my iMac while I was at work. He didn't have the Windows Service Pack 2 CD and the install failed. Now I can't startup my iMac except from the install CD.

| Resetting Macbook Pro as if it has never been setup | 21 Jul 2007 19:00 GMT | 11 |
I turned on my Macbook Pro and setup a user account, but didn't run Migration Assistant at that time. I've now learned that it would have been easier to transfer my filevault-protected account on my iBook if I had run Migration Assistant at that time (before account setup).

I am now running my iMac G5 from a LaCie firewire drive cloned from my internal, boot partition and all, because the G5 has to go into the hospital for a power supply transplant. The machine came with Panther, and I upgraded it to Tiger from your basic retail package with download

| Adware removal tools | 21 Jul 2007 05:09 GMT | 4 |
I just got a message from "Disk Cleaner" while running Firefox and it told me the benefits of installing the Disk Cleaner-utility on my system. Great!!! I also use Windows so I recognise adware/spyware when I see one :-).

| Gray screen G4 Powerbook problem solved: bezel pressure? | 21 Jul 2007 01:55 GMT | 1 |
I'd reported a problem with a G4 PB a few weeks back and thought I'd solved it by diagnosing a battery problem. When the original problem recurred, I tried a few more options and think that I solved the bug. Since the Book would operate fine in Target Disk Mode, running through
