drive on my new iMac from my old iMac? I want to upgrade to system 10.4
on the older iMac and I don't have a DVD drive on the older iMac.

I have a MacBook Pro (17'' Core Duo 2) and when I unplug the power
chord and use WiFi at the same time it always crashes within about 2
minutes.
If I don't use the WiFi it doesn't crash, not matter if I'm running

I'v got PPC mac mini with dying power adapter. Will power adapter from
Intel based mini will work with my mac? Obviously more power won't
hurt, but I wouldn't be surprised if connectors would have been
incompatibile.

It caught me again.  I forgot to shut off Classic Environment before
sleep.  When my Mac woke, Classic kept the CPU 100% busy.
In a case like that there doesn't seem to be any way to stop it except
Force Quit.  Can that cause harm?  Is there another way to stop it?

Got a message allegedly from MacUpdate claiming I was eligible
for a 'wonderful' promo.  At first, I thought it was phishing,

one of the last things i've done with my intel mac mini was a complete
software update to 10.4.10. Now every application i try to start
immediatly hangs. (The application icon is displayed at the task bar,

i have an external 500gb USB2 drive, which i move around frequently
from my mac & win machines.
now something strange has happened -- much of its contents are no
longer visible on the mac. on my mac it now only shows four folders,
