I've set about customizing my system a tad.  Part of which is the
inclusion of a 'Games' folder containing aliases to all of my games in
my Applications folder.  I've endeavored to make all of my adjustments
fit in as well as possible with the overall interface provided by Apple. ...

Is anyone running both Parallels and Boot Camp on the same system?  If
so, have there been any issues with your Windows License on the dual
copies?  Or are you able to run both systems on a single license since
they're on the same physical computer/processor combination?

I have a data file,m which is around 8GB. I want to burn it on a DV, but
as I have the Powerbook that was the last to ship with a single=layer
super-drive this is not straightforward. Is there any way I can break it
up into two files that would fit on a single=layer disk?

I end up with a lot of temporary and junk files on my desktop,

My jobs all mail the log file as the last step.  The problem is the mail
never shows the current stuff, just the previous.  Is there a way to
force the output to flush before sending the mail?

I've had my Mac about three years now, and just picked up my first

I just bought a new iMac 24 (used) and I'm having a problem I've never
seen before. When I try to connect to the machine using ssh, I get an
error message if the iMac is sleeping:
ssh: connect to host volta port 22: Operation timed out
