Silly me: I checked fonts with Font Book, found 4 defective ones and clicked remove checked. This removed most of my fonts to the Thrash I did copy them from Thrash to another location, and imported them again

High speed cable connection up to 13000 kbps, (Comcast). I have an Asanti about 8 years old and it won't pass the higher speeds. Anyone have some suggestions as to which one to buy. D-Link, Belkin, Netgear etc.

I upgraded to OSX.39 and now I CAN'T LOGIN!!! I just upgraded to OS X.3.9 - and now it won't let me login. My username pops up... it gives me the correct password hint/reminder... but it won't take my password!

I'm interested in what Finder behaviors are considered by some to be either bugs or annoyances. I keep seeing comments to the effect that the Finder's current behavior is incorrect and would find it enlightening to have some details.

I am running OS 10.4.10 on a 4 month old iMac. The spam filters in "Mail" do not work. Has anyone else noticed this and is there some way around this problem? Lee

I'll probably be getting a new MBP in the next week or two, with the current one being deeded to my wife. This has all my business stuff on it, etc. Anything I need to do to prepare this one for orderly transfer? Will migration assistant take care of everything like moving over

I've noticed that when I restart my Mac, sometimes menulets that were running automatically restart themselves, and other times they do not -- most often some random subset seems to restart and others need to be manually restarted.
