I have just bought an HP MediaVault, and I'm having two problems. After
the unit boots and shows all green lights as it's supposed to do, it

I try to generate a Python project with Xcode I get the following error

I'm looking for recommendations for backup software to run under MacOS
X 10.4.x on a Power Macintosh G4 MDD.  I want to be able to backup my
entire hard drive to DVD-Rs, and preferably be able to produce a
bootable DVD from which I can boot, if necessary, to do a full restore

I have a G3 running MacOS X, a couple of days back it asked me to update
a few packages like Java and some others so I let it go ahead with them
and it asked for a reboot so I reboot. Then it comes up but none of my

I would like to be able to clone a non-Mac disk (Unix/Windows) using my
Mac. I'd take the source disk from its machine, connect it through
USB/FW to the Mac, grab a similarly sized blank disk, connect it, and
obtain a perfect copy, that I would put into the original machine.

When partitioning an external disk on an iMac Core2Duo,
should one always choose the Options... button and
