I recently installed 10.4.10PPC.pkg followed by security update 2007-006Ti.pkg. Everything (else) seems to be OK - except Safari. It craps out on me quite freqently. Especially when I click on a link. It aborts. I've made Firefox my default browser so I am not in real

I would like to be able to clone a non-Mac disk (Unix/Windows) using my Mac. I'd take the source disk from its machine, connect it through USB/FW to the Mac, grab a similarly sized blank disk, connect it, and obtain a perfect copy, that I would put into the original machine.

When partitioning an external disk on an iMac Core2Duo, should one always choose the Options... button and select "GUID Partition Table"? If so, why is this not the default or is Apple too stupid to realize
