I wish to self publish a book on 5.5" x 8.5" paper sheared size but
printing on two sides of 8.5 x 11 letter size. Can anyone give me some

I created a RAM Disk in my Mac G4 under OS 9.2.2.  I want to discard it but
the system refuses to delete it.  Is there a special procedure to eliminate

Mac OS X 10.4.10, PowerMac G4 (Yikes PCI).  traceroutes are very slow from
both a terminal session and the Network Utility.  Ping works fine and also
traceroutes rom WinXP and Win2K PC's on the same network and my router
(Linksys WRT54G) work fine also.

I find (no pun intended) that I like the Find command (cmd-F) to be more
useful than regular Spotlight. My problem with Find is that it opens with a
window for Kind and Last Opened entries. Most of the time I want to use Name
