I recently started using OS X (10.4.3) on an eMac (40 gb HD, 1.25 gHz,

Hey, all. I'm using Netscape 7.2 for reading newsgroups (and really for
nothing else). I have it set to require user name and PW each time I
access my news server. But if I spend too long (say, longer than a
couple of minutes) reading a message, Netscape asks for the sign in info ...

Help! Ever since I got Safari 3 I keep losing form autofill values
every time I quit Safari. Passwords are remembered, however other
autofill data appears to last only for one session.

Hello all.  Can anyone reccomend a keyboard for Mac that has an
integrated touchpad (or trackball or "other" type of pointing dev).  I
curently have a G5 and just looking for something to reduce my desk
clutter with my current setup.

I'm currently with Verizon.  My LG "The V" stopped working a few days
ago.  (OK, it fell off my waistband and into the toilet bowl.)  Verizon
says I have to wait until July 1st to get a new phone at a reduced
price; before then, I would have to pay full price.

I have not followed this NG in a looong time, but I had such a strange
thing happen on my G4 PB running 10.4.9, that I thought I'd share.

In the "Read Me before Installing" file it states that a requirement
for OS10.4 is a DVD drive. This implies that 10.4 cannot be installed
in Mac unless it has a DVD drive. Is this correct or just a nice thing
