I'm getting ready to buy a MacBook. I want to boot to Winows XP. There's
some programs that won't run in their OS, not to mention I can't afford
spending thousands in more software again. Can use the MacBook like a PC?

I have a MacBook Pro (Core Duo) running OS X 10.4.9.
I have tried to install the new beta of Safari but every time I get a

Hi. I recently made the move from PC desktop to Mac.  When I had my
PC, I backed up a lot of files on an external USB hard drive. Now when
I try to back up additional files from my Mac, it's telling me that my
hard drive is "Read only". Is this a compatibility issue? Do I have to

one is that, when working w/ windows users & servers i often must copy/

I just received an Epson Powerlite 77c projector. When I first plugged it in
to my powerbook G4 running MacOS 10.4.9 I could see the desktop on the image.
Now all i see is a not supported message. The cable connections seem fine. I
have been in the displays menu and set per Epson ...
