What exactly is a web archive? Is this a proprietary file format which will only work with Safari? Or will this file open in other browsers too?

| Apple TV woes | 10 Jun 2007 22:24 GMT | 1 |
Just a bit of experience with Apple TV. It is a pain. After two hours on the phone with Apple I still cannot get it to remain connected in a wireless network to a MacPro. And to get it reconnected takes a ot of patience. So far a regrettable decision to get one.

| Mail Photo Question | 10 Jun 2007 22:09 GMT | 13 |
Hello; I'm a Mac newbie and could use a hand finding something on the system to change it. During the initial setup, the system took a photo of me that appears on my mail. You don't want to know how bad this photo looks :-)))

| Erased DVD-RWs won't mount | 10 Jun 2007 21:40 GMT | 2 |
For some reason my DVD-RW discs won't mount after being erased. I've tried several DVDs, so the problem isn't with a particular, damaged media. And they mount fine to begin with (I've used them a few times before) as there's data on them.

| Question about secure empty trash/srm | 10 Jun 2007 17:47 GMT | 5 |
I know that the Finder (10.3 &10.4) secure empty trash command uses the Unix srm command. However, I'm unclear about exactly what it's doing. Quoting from the srm man page: srm removes each specified file by overwriting, renaming, and truncat

| HP LJ2300 won't print via USB (OS 9) | 10 Jun 2007 16:33 GMT | 4 |
I reinstalled the OS 9 drivers (the user uses this Mac primarily for a Classic app, so boots into OS 9 only) downloaded from HP.com, but the printer won't show up in Chooser. As instructed in the setup instructions that come with the HP LJ Printer Utility, once the driver was ...

| Can OS X turn a flash drive with a "U3 system" into an ordinary drive? | 10 Jun 2007 05:14 GMT | 1 |
Apparently the U3 system on the drive my son bought is incompatible with the arcade game he bought it for. U3.com offers a Windows executable (after asking what O.S. you have!) for removing the U3 driver.

| Netscape 9 now available for OS X | 09 Jun 2007 18:27 GMT | 8 |
Netscape 9 has been released for Linux, Windows, and Macintosh. Its bascially just Firefox with a Netscape re-branding, but I have a sentimental attachment to Netscape. Reminds me of being on dial up back in 1996! But seriously, the Netscape browser is nothing like the
