24" iMacs run hot!12 Jun 2007 21:22 GMT215
So I popped into a store that sells Macs and there was a 24" iMac
sitting there.  Didn't look like it was doing anything but I was in a
rush and couldn't check the Activity Monitor.  The back was very hot,
the air coming out of the slit near the top at the back was also very

M$ Excel reported my "Helvetica Neue" font to be corrupted, so I used
Font Book to move it to the trash. Can anyone give me advice on
repairing/replacing this font, short of reinstalling Office?
Thanks,

Safari lacks respect for FORM CSS attributes12 Jun 2007 04:38 GMT12
I was just adding a new feature to a web site.  I found that Safari does
not respect some style sheet attributes for form objects.  For example:

Web proxy and AppleTV.12 Jun 2007 01:31 GMT4
I've tested this time and time again. On my Hughesnet setup, I enter
the proxy setting provided (192.168.0.1) in system Prefs. Everytime,
it screws up my Apple TV, connected wirelessly to an Apple extreme BS
via the n protocoll.
Really dumb qustion about shell scripts12 Jun 2007 00:15 GMT16
I have a Terminal command that I'd like to run when SuperDuper finishes
its cloning job.  I see that SD! has a handy feature to "run shell
script" at the end of the cloning session.
Here's my dumb question.  Promise you won't laugh.

I'm been having problems with a failed hard disk, and now need to

Strip program changes from MIDI files under Mac OS X?11 Jun 2007 22:14 GMT5
I need to take standard MIDI files and just strip out all the program
