Server vs Local Mailbox Problem17 Jun 2007 04:30 GMT6
I created an "On My Mac" mailbox and dragged some email into it. Then
I deleted the email from the server based mailbox and the same
messages were removed from the local mailbox. How exactly can I move
email from the server to the Mac so the server doesn't get full?
Which web cam with iChat?17 Jun 2007 04:00 GMT4
Recently, my iSight died. I've had it for a while and it's out of
warranty of course. Apple doesn't sell the iSight on its own anymore. Up
to about a month ago they had one of the Logitech cams listed on their
site as compatible with iChat; well, not anymore either.

Leopard Developer's copy16 Jun 2007 23:02 GMT5
Its out so I was wondering if anyone has tried it and if its useable
or has a lot of bugs?  And I wonder if the bugs are very hardware
dependent?

selecting folders causes Finder to restart16 Jun 2007 19:11 GMT11
My boss encountered a bizarre issue with Finder today.  When she tries
to open certain folders from a Finder window, the window closes and
Finder restarts.  Not all folders cause this to happen, but once a
folder produces this behavior once it appears to produce it
No 802.11n in iMac?16 Jun 2007 16:21 GMT10
I'm getting ready to buy a new iMac for daughter and I'm really confused
about the 802.11n availability.  The Apple store says the iMac Airport
cards are 802.11g and not "n".  I don't understand why any new Mac would
not be 802.11n capable.  The Mac Pro says only that it has ...
Gray screen Powerbook G4 867, doubtful hardware problem...16 Jun 2007 15:07 GMT7
My Titanium G4 867 Powerbook has acted a little flaky lately, only
showing a gray screen on startup a few times, then ultimately starting
properly. I now am unable to get it past the gray screen so as to boot
at all. I doubt that there is a hardware problem, as I got the PB to

Leopard compatible w/Pismo?16 Jun 2007 06:03 GMT3
Did they say anything about whether Leopard would run on older machines
such as the Pismo G3/500 Powerbook?
Using Windows with a MacBook16 Jun 2007 05:51 GMT8
I'm getting ready to buy a MacBook. I want to boot to Winows XP. There's
some programs that won't run in their OS, not to mention I can't afford
spending thousands in more software again. Can use the MacBook like a PC?
Are
Adam and the 'MacCast' - is this show finished?16 Jun 2007 03:30 GMT5
What's going on with this podcast?
There used to be a new one *way* more frequently then this. Sounds
like this guy is too busy to keep it up. Shame, because he's very
good. (except for the song he plays at the end - what the hell is all
'Previous System Folder'16 Jun 2007 02:21 GMT1
I have an older, loved, G4, and have upgraded over the years and am now
using OS 10.3.9.
I see that I have this folder as noted above, but do I need it?
Space is becoming a problem and I can copy the folder to my external
Power Macintosh G4 MDD microphone input specifications?16 Jun 2007 01:55 GMT1
I just got a Power Macintosh G4 (Mirrored Drive Door) model, and am
wondering what I need to do to make a microphone work with it, short of
going the USB route.
Looking at the back, I see two 3mm jacks, one with an obvious speaker
