Ipod extension cable22 May 2007 13:43 GMT5
Has anyone ever seen an ipod multipin extension cable?  I have an 80G
pod.  I'm looking for a cable which extends the ipod multipin jack on
the bottom.  The reason is because some accessories (radio trans,
etc.) connect directly to that port, flush with the bottom of the
Opening the CD drive under OS 922 May 2007 13:16 GMT1
I needed to run OS 9 for a composition project, so I pulled out my old
sunflower iMac G4 and installed OS 9 on it.  I can use my newer-model
Apple Pro keyboard under OS 9, but the volume and eject keys don't
appear to work.  If I eject a CD using the "Eject" command, the CD

Outlook Task list sync with ipod22 May 2007 00:13 GMT1
I have an 80GB ipod, and I am getting used to using it with my Outlook
2007, but I find it odd that the Calendars and Contacts will sync, but
I searched the Apple website and found nothing on the task list.
Seemingly, the 2 are intrinsically linked (tasks and calendar)--at

Firefox BACK command21 May 2007 15:24 GMT4
Opera has this neat Back/Forward feature where you can just hit the

I use .Mac but only free trial which expires after 60 days.
Every now and then, I simply COPY the /Documents/*.* in my iDisk to my
hard drive (giving it a name like "copy-of-iDisk-documents-folder")
Looking for a Haxie21 May 2007 12:51 GMT1
I've posted this request in the past but you never know when things happen.
What I would like is for the menu bar to hide just as does the dock when the
appropriate preferences are set. Preferably I would like the hiding to occur
only when Finder is the active application.
