An oddity to me, but perhaps someone can explain: I have two user
accounts for one web site that keeps track of referee assignments, and
at the end of the year, I can pull down an .xls formatted document that
I'm meant to use to submit an invoice.

I had transferred 520MB of a 557MB file to another Mac via iChatAV file
transfer, when iChatAV lost its AIM connection.  I couldn't find a way
to resume the transfer.  I just started from the beginning again.
Is there a way to resume an interrupted transfer at the interruption

I have a G4 Dual 1.0 Gig Desktop with 1.5 Gigs of RAM aka Quicksilver

Been using OS 9.1 on an old clone. Decided to get a pre-owned eMac from
gainsaver.com. It has 10.4. I think I've entered the correct info in the
"Internet Configure" pane but, when I try to connect, authentication is
denied and the modem immediately disconnects. Any ideas? TIA,

dslreports downloads a Java applet that does absolutely
nothing on my 10.3.9 in any browser that I've tried.

When I view a .webloc file with /usr/bin/strings, strings reveals no
content.  In fact, /bin/ls shows that the .webloc file is zero bytes.
So how does the Finder get the URL to open in Safari if there's no URL
(or seemingly anything else) in the .webloc?

Hello can an ipod from the US be charged in Europe without a voltage
converter? Like a powerbook. I know you need an ac adapter plug to work
there. Just not sure if it automatically switches voltages.

I really want to buy some tv show episodes from itunes. Was wondering

Does Mac OSX support POSIX Message Queues?
I am porting a program from Digital Unix that uses POSIX message
queues.

One way people have been able to do this, is with the CUPS Virtual
