Been using OS 9.1 on an old clone. Decided to get a pre-owned eMac from gainsaver.com. It has 10.4. I think I've entered the correct info in the "Internet Configure" pane but, when I try to connect, authentication is denied and the modem immediately disconnects. Any ideas? TIA,

When I view a .webloc file with /usr/bin/strings, strings reveals no content. In fact, /bin/ls shows that the .webloc file is zero bytes. So how does the Finder get the URL to open in Safari if there's no URL (or seemingly anything else) in the .webloc?

One way people have been able to do this, is with the CUPS Virtual Printer. (http://tinyurl.com/2bmn8x). But when I tried that with the files I needed to print, I got messages saying "Page outside of margins. Continue?" for every page.
