hi. how would i go about changing the icon to a desktop icon/alias? i
have a website favorite as an icon on the desktop; i want to change the
icon to the website's icon.. i know who to get/make the icon, i just
don't know how to change icons.

I bought a Powerbook G4 on ebay and I was given the admin user
password and was able to enable/disable root with no problems.
However when I went to the Filevault settings there was a Master
password which I didnt know and neither did the seller.

I recently purchased a Mac Pro tower w/ OSX... 2x Intel Core Duo
2.66Ghz, 3GB Ram. I am installing 2x250GB SATA drives and I want to
install a RAID 0 stripe for performance reasons...
Is there any way to set it up using Hardware RAID instead of Software

As a medical student, I run training CD's in Parallels. Unfortunately
one of them does not run, it says it "cannot find the original disk"
when the original disk in in the disk drive. Older CD's from the same

I have been using the Sony DVD-R for since I started burning DVDs with
Roxio Toast (Latest Toast 7 Titanium), and with the latest spool, I
finally gave up and threw the rest of the spool away today with maybe
10-15 un-tested.

I have a (unfortunately small) USB stick which I use for the transfer
of data between my home and work. Accidentally I saw recently that
somebody who needs my computer (at work) via Filesharing can also see
my USB device and can also use it! Actually it's too extensive for me

I used to use Command_E to eject my memory card before removing it
from the reader. Now it doesn't work. Does anyone know what could be
the reason? Where to look?
