iHome iH6 vs. iH806 May 2007 07:05 GMT1
I recently purchased an iHome iH6 stereo clock radio with iPod capabilities.
I've noted on the iHome website that there is also an iH8 model, both the iH6
and iH8 selling for the same $99.99 (gadzooks, $99.99 is so much less than
$100), The pictures shown on the iHome website for ...

sometimes the window that I am working on disappears. Clicking on
another program then selecting the application in the doc normally
brings back the missing window/document. Have searched around Apple

I've been struggling with this for some time now.  I'm looking for
advice.  I need a preferably free service / client to do video and
voice chat between my Mac at home and a Windows laptop for when I
travel.  I used to be able to use iChat with an AOL account and

Hey Everyone, I just got my new Macbook Pro for free a few days ago.
Saw this group out here and thought I would tell you how to get one

another one for free to sell on eBay- which as of yesterday were going
Latest Stupid Problem05 May 2007 23:29 GMT9
In utter ignorance, I assumed that a mini-DVD from a videocam could be
compatibly inserted in my drive in my MacBook Pro. As probably any one
with half a brain can guess, when I did this, it just vanished - no
icon, no response to the various normal ways of ejecting a disc. Right

amazing car!)
I put together a playlist in iTunes of about 150 songs but when I went
to burn it, it said that anything bought from the the iTunes store
Going OS X Only05 May 2007 14:47 GMT23
I've got an old iMac running 10.4 (very happily I might add) but it has
a smallish hard drive. As I no longer use any OS9 applications, is
there any way I can eliminate system 9 from my hard drive altogether. I
tried just dropping into the wastebasket, but got a curt alert to the ...

Dragon speech recognition on a Mac with Vista OS - WOW !!!05 May 2007 08:07 GMT7
Dragon Speech Recognition, for lazy bums like me, on a Mac.
With Vista, yet - on a Mac.
While the Winders crowd is valiantly fighting Bill's efforts to jam
Vista down their throats, I actually bought Vista Ultimate at its full

was on the Finder menu instead
.flv converter for OS9?05 May 2007 03:54 GMT7
I have a bunch of movies in various formats (avi, QT, mov) that I have
to convert to .flv files.
All I can find so far is OSX stuff.
Is there anything that will work on OS9?
