Humph! - I thought people were joshing when they complained that Parallels is a bit confusing, and substantial support is spotty, at best. Grrr, just got finished with a full week climbing up the Parallels learning curve, I am exhausted.

I'm playing with iMovie, and it appears that you can add titles up to 4.2 seconds duration. Is there any way to add titles that are of longer duration?

is it possible to remove an entry from the launchservices database? If so, how? Under Tiger all files with an extension of ".xyz" are opened by a specific application, e.g. Excel in my case. Sometimes in the past I sat the checkbox at "always open with" in the "open with..." dialog. ...

Can iWeb be used independent of the rest of the iLife apps? I do have a .mac account but use things other than iPhoto, iMovie, iDvd and GarageBand. Using a Intel Mac with all the latest software.

I had a programmer set up a database for my office and it's only partially working now. I backed up regularly, but the "bad" database also backed up, so I don't have the original "virgin" database to replace the bad one with.
