| Mac on a PC?? | 18 May 2007 12:32 GMT | 2 |
Sorry if this post appears several times - my PC has gone a bit bonkers (which is part of the reason I'm writing this post!). Now that Macs use Intel chips, why can't you just put OSX on to a wiped PC?

| Safe boot | 18 May 2007 02:02 GMT | 17 |
Ok, a co-worker brought his G4 in for some troubleshooting. After he installed Security Update 2007-04 it refuses to boot completely. It does, however, boot completely in safe mode. We've temporarily removed all startup and login items to no avail. We've

I have two hard drives in my G4 1GHz AGP. One is my primary and the other is my secondary or backup drive. This works great but there is no need to keep the secondary drive running all the time. I am not aware of an OSX command to shut down one drive. To work around this OSX

| Who is Jesus? | 17 May 2007 18:53 GMT | 18 |
Who is Jesus? Without a doubt, you have often heard the claim that Jesus is God, the second person in the "Holy trinity." However, the very Bible which is used as a basis for knowledge about Jesus and as the basis for

Now that Macs have Intel chips, why can't you just install a Mac OS on a PC? (This may be a techncially stupid question - if so forgive me). Sean

| Sync iCal/Address book between iMac and macbook? | 17 May 2007 10:26 GMT | 3 |
I would have thought this was easy, but apparently its impossible according to Applecare (in fact one, second tier technician, told me its easily done using iSync, but AFAIK it doesn't sync across a network) Surely I'm not the only person ever to have wanted to do this?

| External Drive - Encrypt A Partition? | 17 May 2007 08:10 GMT | 1 |
I'm poking around the Disk Utility in OS X 10.4.8, setting up an external drive I'm going to be using for backup purposes for my home and work laptops. I've split it into two partitions easily enough. The work laptop is Windows and I'll be using TrueCrypt to encrypt one
