Sooner or later my beloved Microsoft Trackball Explorer is going to

wondering what other Mac users recommend for a Trackball.  Logitech
and Kensington are 2 popular options.

Cloning an iMac21 Apr 2007 13:34 GMT3
Today I honored a request to clone one iMac onto another iMac. Both iMacs
were Intel based and other than the newer one having a Core 2 Duo processor
instead of a Core Duo processor they appeared to be identical.
I cloned by putting both iMacs into target disk mode and then ...

I have an external USB hard disk and I use it to move huge files (+4

Terminal release ip command?21 Apr 2007 04:30 GMT89
Finding this with Google is just totally aggravating.  Can anyone let
me know how to release and renew my IP address with Terminal?  "Renew
DHCP Lease" just doesn't work for me.  I keep on getting the same IP
address.  My cable company of course tries to give me the same IP

Internet Connect, but every time I select "Connect" from the menu bar, it
selects the old configuration in Internet Connect.
What am I doing wrong?

NetNewsWire questions20 Apr 2007 19:50 GMT4
Is there any way of deleting messages?  I can mark them read, but they
are still displayed.  I'd like to have 3 types:  unread and visible,
read and visible, read and invisible.  That way I can save pertinent
messages for later and am not distracted by irrelevant messages.
Sleep/Wakeup problems?20 Apr 2007 19:27 GMT5
I am using a late G4 desktop running 10.4.9. It happens in several ways.
One way is that I put my computer to sleep pressing the power button once
(It is set up to do so). I hear a click from the computer (relay?) as if it
