Driver for Konica/Minolta 7272?03 Apr 2007 13:38 GMT4
I work in a windows world with a Mac and would like to print to the
nicer Minolta printer as it can print 2 sided while the HP printers that
I can see with Rendevous only print one sided.
Any chance of getting a proper network driver for the Minolta printer.
Filtering stations in Airport?03 Apr 2007 07:22 GMT7
There used to be only me in the neighbourhood with wireless internet
(Airport). Then my neighbour. I told him to secure his network, because
I could browse his PC. He even gave his network a nice name. Now there's
a new person...belkin54g. Worst of all is, my network (closed, ...

My wife and I are hoping to sell our house soon.  We currently have two

Help Needed - Mac OS 603 Apr 2007 01:56 GMT10
A friend of mine has a Mac (OS 6) which is misbehaving. I'm trying to
help him, but I'm afraid that I don't know much about Macs. When he
tries to start it up, all he gets is a flashing question mark. When he
runs any system utilities from a CD, they work, but when trying to
Maximum distance for Campus network??02 Apr 2007 20:54 GMT5
I would like to know what exactly/roughly can be the maximum distance
for a Campus network.
I understand that as we use L3 switches for the systems in the 2 LANs
to communicate, the distance can be more. But, still I feel there must
Daily Dose widget problems02 Apr 2007 20:44 GMT4
I've been using the Daily Dose widget to connect to the Daily Dose of
Imagery photo site.
For the last few months I've found the widget will not load up the daily
photo and instead just shows a small blue box with a question mark.
enable NAT/networking on macbook 'on-the-road'02 Apr 2007 16:54 GMT4
Hi, I've asked this question in other groups, without much response,
but maybe there are more technically savy people here who could
enlighten me..
I wish to 'enable' the NAT interface when I am unplugged from a router
restarting syslogd under tiger. bug in mac os 10.4.X02 Apr 2007 15:15 GMT7
I reconfigured syslogd to accept remote events from my cisco router.
This involved editing its launchd plist startup file. Adding a -u to
/System/Library/LaunchDaemons/com.apple.syslogd.plist. Having done so
syslog appears to hang everynight around 3:15 when the log files are

Any suggestion to combat glare when using my laptop outdoors?  Glare
on monitor
makes it almost unusuable. Sun not on screen.
I have a vision for dynamic C++ driven websites!02 Apr 2007 02:37 GMT19
I have a vision for  webservers, like apache, which drive websites
online.  Html and PHP are basically just templates that webservers
*USE*.  If we want to be real geniuses then we need to code our own
dynamic website inside of the webserver, and just use basic layouts
Finder is buggy and applejack won't work02 Apr 2007 01:51 GMT4
I have a 2 ghz G5 powermac dual running 10.4.9 and the finder has been
very buggy latey. Often it will tell me, when selecting a file made by

Adobe Acrobat 8.0 & PCL printers01 Apr 2007 18:51 GMT4
I've got CS2.3, and therefore Acrobat 8.0. I also have a Brother HL-2070N
printer. This is a PCL6 printer.
When I send a file to print, it prints just the first page of the selected
range, unless I set printing to be in reverse order. In that case it prints
