Is there a free font checker for 10.3.9 somewhere? I need a tool to use one-time only that will scan the Fonts on a Mac and report on whether they're working right, corrupted or unusable in this system. Just something that will quickly identify the bad fonts so I can delete them.

using MacOS X 10.4.8 with a basic Mac USB keyboard that came with the iMac and eMac - tested two keyboards and the problem must be in the software - all of a sudden my numeric keypad doesn't work - the number keys do something else like tab, select, etc but the plus minus

I am trying to pare down the HD on my PowerBook G4 and checked the volume with Disk Surveyor (a great little program from OS 9 dayswish they'd upgrade). My main OS is 10.4.8. I note a few of folders that use up a lot of space, viz.

Right now my network is setup to use my ISPs name servers. Can I use a mac on my network as a domain name server? i.e. is there a dnsd that I can run, native to mac os x? 1) I'd like to cauch lookups (for faster web browsing)
