Is there any way of stopping Finder from moving the columns so I can't
go backwards?  This hard to explain.  Say I move a video from one folder
to another.  As soon as the file being dragged by the mouse is on top of

My Macbook HD crashed last weekend and I am now up and running.
However, i have a big problem with my iTunes purchases.... Firstly, I
have a full system backup and my iTunes library was on an external

I'm totally baffled, and would MUCH appreciate some input from you gurus...
My network consists of a macMini (server), an iBook and a PowerBook 15.
All have happily communicated via an Airport Extreme for ages.

I have a questions about the bash shell.

Just to add balance and perspective, partitioning does have some virtues.
With OS X version 10.4.8, I myself have bounced between only one
partition, to as many as 30 partitions, some of them as small as one MB.

Mail will not send messages even though the pop and smtp settings are
the same as Gyazmail which does send. The problem may be related to

whenever i seek a position in vlc player the video goes all
