I recently purchased a Brother HL-5250DN printer. I use Mac OS 10.2.8. The printer had Postscript Emulation on the box. We're a weekly newspaper and I like to output 65 line screen halftones. Well, it doesn't seem possible to set the line screen on this "Postscript" printer.

I have several questions about iPhoto. 1) When you request prints through iPhoto it automatically goes to a particular service. Is this customizable or does this service have a monopoly on all iPhoto services?

My wife recently got our first iMac. Since she already had people who shared Windows Messenger with her, she installed it only to discover that it doesn't have the capability that the Windows version has (for instance, it won't use her camera).

I have downloaded episodes of LOST and DRESDEN FILES through iTunes. Thinking I'd like to see the episode on my TV rather than watch it on my computer I attempted to put one of the episodes on a DVD --- but it got half way through the burn and "told" me an error occurred...

In Linux, I can get lots of system stats from files in the /proc directory. Is there an equivalent in OSX, and even more specifically, OSX Server 10.4?

I find it awkward to keep holding down the mouse button when clicking on a folder in the dock in order to navigate through its sub-folders. I'd much rather be able to single-click on that folder, then have all the sub-folders pop instantly (sort of like the Start-menu on Windows
