I have a Mac G5 (PowerPC) running 10.4.8.
Yesterday it started acting very funny. When opening many applications I get

I access my home Mac from work using VNC on my Windows 2000 machine
everyday.  I use Mail.app for my email client. Yesterday, aAfter I
deleted all of my unwanted and junk email, I selected:

I have an Airport Extreme and make use of the USB connector on the
airport to connect a printer that is used by other iMacs for printing.
Can I use a USB extender that provides me with more USB ports, connect
the extender to the Airport Extreme, increase my number of USB port

I have an automator action which connects to the shares I need at
start-up.  Only problem is that it brings up the 'connect to server'
dialogue which rather defeats the bject.
Is there a way to get automator to press the 'connect' button

My wife's MAC 7200 won't boot.  She gets a small box with a flashing ?

Is one type of DVD *preferred* over the other (DVD-R or DVD+R)?
Are some brands better than others?  Some I should stay away from?  Is
there any reason I shouldn't use a printable one?
