When you're navigating in the Finder in Column View, by keys (like
pushing M for going to a program in a column starting with M) the
Finder uses bizarre logic and highlights it at the bottom instead of
at the middle of the column.  So unless you are going to the first M

If you're in Column View, is there any way of navigating from column
to column WITHOUT using the arrow keys?  In PathFinder you hit the
Enter key and you hop over to the next column in that folder.  But in
Finder that, of course, wants to rename the folder.  Suggestions?

In my Finder Sidebar I have a folder called Parallels.app which I
cannot remove.  If I click on it it says "The Volume for Parallels.app
cannot be found."  If I drag it to the trash, it just comes back again.

I have downloaded Netbeans onto my iBook. I see the icon on my
desktop, but when I click on it, the application opens and then closes
