| Interesting Finder/GraphicConverter malfunction ? | 17 Feb 2007 19:54 GMT | 2 |
This may be a bug in GraphicConverter I had a tiff file visible on my desktop with a GraphicConverter icon. I selected it and did Cmd-I to get the info window. Rainbow pizza! and Finder is using 70-90% CPU time for minutes.

| Interesting iTunes problem | 17 Feb 2007 15:46 GMT | 1 |
I just noticed that when I try to import MP4 videos into iTunes’ library, if the filename of any video is longer than about 60 characters, it won’t be imported. It just doesn’t show up in the library. Also, after trying unsuccessfully to import some videos like this,

My wife and I both have PowerPC Macs (Powerbook G4s of different vintage) and both run OS X 10.4.8. I backup and clone both to external FW hard drives connected to one. If I have a problem/crash, I can boot from the clone of one on the other.

| Mac OS X Server CPU graphs | 17 Feb 2007 09:28 GMT | 4 |
In the Server Admin application I can get a nice graph of how much the CPU has worked lately. I realize that the GFX work is done in this application, but it's pulling the data for the graph from the server machine.

Why are the '@' and ' " ' (doublequote) keys reversed when I use an external UK keyboard? There doesn't seem to be a possibility to fix it. AppleCare say its designed like this (broken) - surely not. I'm using an external Philips 180P monitor which was correctly detected,

| change file/folder opening default behaviour? | 16 Feb 2007 18:20 GMT | 9 |
If I'm in Finder, and highlight a folder or file, I'd like to be able to open that folder or file by pressing Enter - I guess in a Windows- stylee. I appear to have to press Command-O instead. Is there a way of changing this?
