Anyone use an HP Photosmart C3100 with their mac? If so, do you know
how to check the ink levels? For the life of me I can't find this
information anywhere using the drivers that came with it. I am running

I'm a unix users from a long way back. I am considering migrating
files from my home unix box and home windows box to a iMac Intel.
If/when I migrate I will not need the internal IDE drives on these
two boxes.

I recently switched from Windows XP to a Macbook Pro and I would like
to convert my Outlook Express address book (.WAB format) and Outlook
Express email (.dbx format) to the Mail application in OS X.

I've seen this on 3 recent-model iMacs, including my own- both Intel and
PPC, all with lots of RAM ,broadband Internet, and OS X 10.4.8.
The symptoms are that sound works for system sounds, iTunes plays music
without problem, etc... but when checking out online video- such as

On Safari, when I start to type something on a form in safari it
automatically starts to fill in the blank.  It also gives me a list to chose
from if there are previous things I have entered in the space.  How can I
turn this off?  I do not want it to do wither of these.  Is this ...

Smalldog (no, I do not work for them, nor have relatives working there,

The CDs that come with Epson printers have drivers for PowerPC Macs. If

Xbench tells me my Mini's disk is 20% slower than other Minis of the
same type with the same drive.
I think I should run the test with Spotlight off.  The only way I know
to turn it off is to put the HD icon in Privacy.  In that case I'll have
