I've backed up my normal boot drive, but when I boot from the backup, I
can't get the normal boot drive to unmount. How can I do that? Thanks.

I recently purchased a 500gb external drive for my G4-Dual867mhz Mac.
Since this Mac never came with a USB 2.0 option, I had installed a 2.0
PCI card some time back.

planet wgsw-14020 gigabit-switch to a ppc g4 733mhz running mac os 9.2.2
and filesharing via tcp/ip.
running os 9.2.2 on the clients everything seems to be fine, booting osx

i a macbook for the first time and i wana use idvd with my jvc
camcorder. The format of the files when transfered to my mac is .mod.
i found out that the .mod codec is just acually mpeg 2, but it still
doesnt play with quicktime and i need it to so i can edit the videos
