Printer 1200 dpi unavailable from OS X 10.713 Jan 2007 20:59 GMT3
I am printing PDF pages containing EPS images from a G3 Macmini to a Xerox
Docuprint 2025 with 1200 x 1200 dpi selected via on-board printer menu.
When printed via Acrobat 4.0 from Classic mode the images print perfectly.
When printed via Acrobat 6.0 or Reader 6. via OS X 10.7. ...
Zoom in/out on .jpg/.tif files with Safari and OS X13 Jan 2007 19:33 GMT2
Using Safari with OS X, when I see a .jpg or .tif picture often the
picture appears zoomed in too close to see the whole picture on my
screen.  I cannot figure out how to zoom out in Safari.  The usual - or
plus key combined with the apple key do not work here.  If I choose

I have a new MacBook Pro. When I run X11, it won't let me start up a
second terminal (xterm). I know it should be able to open any number of
xterms because I've seen it done on another Mac. Is there some setting

I have a surplus of things left on the desktop on my brand spanking new

Does anyone know if os x should support printing over a vpn ? i have
printers in my  printer list in os x that are at another site. The
printers respond to pings and to windows print jobs. However, osx print
jobs just sit in the printer window until i next visit that office.

The new Ipod 80GB ships with an IPOD 2.0 USB connector.

My neighbour has purchased a new PC laptop and finds himself unable to
transfer his data, photographs and videos using an ethernet cable.  He is not
very computer literate, and I don't know enough about PC's to advise him.
I suggested that he burns his data etc to a DVD from one ...
